Registration of cases against school autos

G.C.Rajaratnam, DTO of the Transport Department informed that school autos should be operated in compliance with the rules, and students should not be picked up beyond the limit and the autos should not be driven too fast. On Thursday, it was informed that cases were registered against 18 autos that were carrying students beyond the limit under the authority of the Transport Department. Every auto driver is advised to follow the rules and drive autos responsibly. It has been informed that cases have been registered against a total of 169 autos from 1st to 30th of this month. On this occasion, many auto drivers were made aware of the rules and took a pledge.
