Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has announced the development of new policies for MSME, food processing, IT, electronic and cloud, and textile sectors, which are set to be implemented within the next 100 days.

During a meeting with the industries department, Naidu assessed past investment agreements spanning a decade and instructed officials to create five new policies aimed at attracting fresh investments.

Naidu highlighted that his prior administration had secured investment commitments totaling 16 lakh crore. He expressed concerns that businesses had withdrawn from agreements due to what he perceived as unfavorable policies enacted by the YSRC government.

In efforts to rebuild trust with industrialists, Naidu tasked officials with outlining plans for establishing four new industrial clusters and emphasized the need to draw electronics, pharmaceutical, food processing, and hardware companies to these zones.

Additionally, Naidu scrutinized the progress of key industrial projects, including the bulk drug park in Nakkapalli and the NTPC Green Hydrogen Hub. He urged a reduction in land prices within the Mallavalli Industrial Area to stimulate investment.

Noting a shortfall in the establishment of industrial parks between 2019 and 2024 compared to the previous years, Naidu directed officials to re-engage with companies that had retracted agreements due to the YSRC government’s policies.

Furthermore, in a unique gesture, Oligalu, a local festive delicacy, is being prepared by around 300 households in Gundumala gram panchayat to honor Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu during his visit for social welfare activities and community interactions. The day has been dubbed Chandranna Panduga, with residents enthusiastically preparing Oligalu since the previous night in anticipation of the special occasion.
