A series of operational challenges have resulted in the cancellation or rerouting of several train services. The following trains have been impacted:
- Train No. 02863 departing from Howrah on August 8 and August 15 has been called off due to operational constraints stemming from non-interlock works at Kalumna station, linked to the Rajnandgaon-Kaluma third line project within the Nagpur division of South East Central Railway.
Similarly, Train No. 22973 Gandhidham-Puri Express scheduled to depart from Gandhidham on August 14, and Train No. 22974 leaving Puri on August 17, have also been cancelled.
As a result of safety-related modernization works under the Salem division, Train No. 13352 Alappuzha-Dhanbad Bokaro Express, which runs on various dates in August, will be diverted via Podanur, Irugur, and Surathkal.
Furthermore, Train No. 18190 Ernakulam-Tata Nagar Express, departing from Ernakulam on specific dates in August, will follow a diverted route through Podanur, Coimbatore, and Irugur.
