On Saturday, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Home Minister Amit Shah made a joint appeal to the public to engage in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiative by displaying the National Flag on Independence Day. Shah emphasized the importance of individuals raising the National Flag at their residences, capturing a selfie with it, and sharing the image on the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ website harghartiranga.com. In a Twitter post, Minister Shah highlighted how Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Har GharTiranga movement has transformed into a nationwide initiative, fostering a sense of unity among all Indians. He encouraged all citizens to further strengthen and actively participate in this initiative as before.
Rajnath Singh also encouraged citizens to actively partake in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign with the same level of enthusiasm seen in previous years to commemorate Independence Day. He stressed the importance of hoisting the National Flag, a symbol of India’s pride and honor, in homes from August 9 to August 15 with utmost reverence. Additionally, he called for selfies to be shared on the website www.harghartiranga.com. Minister Singh urged individuals not only to participate in the campaign themselves but also to inspire others to join in, as he expressed on social media.
