The intention to change jobs has remained steady since the previous year, but companies still need to provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes a well-rounded mix of work-life balance, ample opportunities for career advancement, and a flexible and positive work environment in order to retain top talent, according to the Randstad Employer Brand Research (REBR) 2024.
In the latest report, Microsoft has emerged as the most appealing employer brand in India, with TCS and Amazon following in second and third place respectively. Microsoft excelled in areas such as financial stability, a strong reputation, and career growth opportunities, identified as the top three factors driving employee value propositions for organizations, according to the survey. Other notable companies on the list include Tata Power ranked fourth, followed by Tata Motors, Samsung India, Infosys, L&T, Reliance, and Mercedes-Benz.
“The insights gleaned from this year’s findings mirror the evolving expectations of the workforce, with employees increasingly valuing work-life balance and fairness,” remarked Viswanath PS, the Managing Director and CEO of Randstad India. A significant portion of employees received some form of inflation adjustment from their employers this year. The results also indicate a strong interest among employees in utilizing artificial intelligence in their roles, underscoring the importance for employers to invest in upskilling their workforce in modern technologies.
Regarding the impact of artificial intelligence, the survey noted that approximately half of the respondents use AI on a daily or regular basis, with this trend being particularly prominent among Gen Z individuals (60 percent).
