Pawan Kalyan’s Advocacy for Accountability and Reform: Uncovering Past Failures and Proposing Solutions

Pawan Kalyan highlighted the repercussions of past oversights and inconsistencies, emphasizing that the state suffered significant losses in valuable assets. A substantial amount of red sanders worth around 100 crores was intercepted in Karnataka, having been illicitly transported out during the YSRC government’s tenure, with the resulting revenue benefiting Karnataka’s coffers.

Had the AP authorities intercepted the logs, the revenue could have bolstered the state’s finances, potentially supporting pivotal welfare initiatives like the Dr. Ambedkar Videshi Vidya Scheme, aimed at facilitating higher education opportunities abroad for SCs and STs.

Addressing the goal of a drug-free state, the Deputy CM outlined a comprehensive 100-day plan to combat substance abuse among the youth. This strategy includes offering skill development programs in both technical and non-technical fields through designated skill hubs in each constituency, with plans to establish a skill college at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Kakinada.

Furthermore, Pawan Kalyan underscored the government’s commitment to the Jal Jeevan mission, allocating resources to ensure access to clean drinking water for every household. Drawing attention to previous missteps, he criticized the YSRC government’s expenditure of 24,000 crores on pipeline infrastructure, which failed to deliver taps to the populace, hinting at possible ulterior motives. In contrast, he pledged corrective measures under the current administration.

During the official Independence Day celebrations, Pawan Kalyan was joined by his daughter, Aadya. While seated behind her father, Aadya partook in the flag-hoisting ceremony, police parade, tableau exhibitions, cultural events, and dog squad demonstrations. The public showed their support as she shared a moment with Pawan, capturing a selfie amidst the festivities. Notable figures such as Kakinada MLA Vanamadi Venkateswara Rao, Rural MLA Pantham Venkateswara Rao, YSRC MLC Karri Padmashri, district collector Shanmohan, and SP Vikrant Patil were in attendance.
