Trinamul Congress minister Udayan Guha has issued a warning to individuals criticizing his party leader and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee regarding the tragic rape-murder of a young doctor at R.G. Kar Medical College and Hospital. Speaking at a TMC gathering on a Sunday evening, Guha stated that those who target Mamata Banerjee online and call for her resignation will face consequences. He emphasized that actions will be taken against such individuals to prevent unrest and compared the situation to that of Bangladesh. Furthermore, the North Bengal development minister highlighted the need for maintaining order and preventing any parallels to the situation in Bangladesh, affirming the government’s commitment to safeguarding the state from such developments with the support of the local community.
