The reactor explosion ignited a massive fire, causing chaos as some individuals rushed out amid the deafening noise.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep shock at the tragedy and extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. He announced that the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund would provide compensation, with Rs 2 lakh designated for the families of the deceased and Rs 50 thousand allocated for the injured.
In parallel, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is set to visit Auchthapuram on Thursday. He will first visit the hospital in Visakhapatnam to meet with those receiving treatment before proceeding to the site of the incident for inspection.

The workers fled in fear, while nearby villagers were shaken by the intensity of the blast. Firefighters from various areas, including Pharma Sez, mobilized promptly to contain the blaze.
