Hydra, the enforcement authority in Madapur, has taken a strong stance against illegal constructions by demolishing the famous N-Convention Hall belonging to actor Nagarjuna. Despite efforts to seek a court stay, the authorities proceeded with the demolition following numerous complaints about unauthorized development around Tammidikunta pond.
Commissioner AV Ranganath highlighted that the construction of N-Convention violated regulations as it encroached on critical zones within the pond area without the necessary permissions from GHMC. The coordinated effort involving Hydra, GHMC, Town Planning, and Revenue staff led to the removal of encroachments, emphasizing the importance of adhering to land regulations.
The controversy surrounding N-Convention’s construction has raised questions about other illicit structures in Madapur and the potential targets of Hydra’s future actions. With no legal approvals obtained, the management’s attempt to regularize the building under the Building Regularization Scheme was unsuccessful, underscoring the consequences of flouting construction laws.
As the dust settles on N-Convention’s demolition, the spotlight shifts to other high-profile constructions on disputed lands, prompting speculation about Hydra’s next moves and the identities of VIPs involved in similar violations. The issue has ignited public interest and debate, signaling a growing concern over unauthorized developments in the region.
