Rohan Jaitley, son of the late former Union Minister Arun Jaitley, has been a prominent figure in the Delhi and District Cricket Association for several years. Under his leadership, Delhi hosted five World Cup matches and launched the Delhi Premier League, attracting top Indian cricket stars. The consensus within BCCI appears to be in favor of Rohan Jaitley’s appointment as Secretary, while other officials are expected to retain their positions.
Should Jai Shah secure the ICC presidency, he would join a prestigious group of Indian cricket administrators, including Jaganmohan Dalmiya, Sharad Pawar, N Srinivasan, and Shashank Manohar.
