In a tragic turn of events in Vijayawada, a seemingly innocuous request for biryani escalated into a fatal altercation that led to the death of a man identified as Gali Ramu. The incident, which occurred in Saipuram Colony under Gollapudi Panchayat, has left the community in shock and raised concerns about the increasing frequency of clashes resulting in violence.
According to local reports, Lakshmareddy’s younger brother approached Gali Ramu on Monday, requesting biryani. When Ramu explained that he couldn’t afford to provide the meal, the younger brother flew into a rage. Enraged by the denial of biryani, he viciously attacked his elder brother with a window stick, causing fatal injuries that claimed Ramu’s life on the spot.
Upon receiving information from the locals, the police, led by CIK Umamaheswara Rao, swiftly responded to the scene of the crime to investigate the tragic incident. The area where the murder transpired was meticulously examined, leading to the apprehension of Lakshmareddy’s younger brother as the prime suspect in the murder case.
