The AP Tourism Development Corporation is set to launch Knowledge Yatra packages tailored for students to discover the attractions of the city. Vaisakhi, situated amidst hills in the coastal area, showcases a seamless fusion of natural splendor and historical sites. Aligned with government guidelines, APTDC is devising approximately five student-oriented packages to entice student travel groups to the city, a pivotal hub like Visakhapatnam. Srinivas Pani, the Regional Director of APTDC, expressed that the corporation is striving to establish a dedicated tourism route for students, highlighting key landmarks such as the Museum, Submarine Museum, Sea Harrier, TU 142 Fighter Aircraft Museum, Kailasagiri, Telugu Museum, and the Buddhist monuments. Students who opt for these packages can anticipate all-inclusive amenities covering meals, transport, and lodging, as stated to Deccan Chronicle. The focus is on broadening educational prospects for local students in Visakhapatnam, with an aim to alleviate academic stress through specialized tourism offerings. APTDC aims to replicate this model in other regions as well.
