Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is gearing up for a transformative journey aimed at instilling non-violent methods in the youth to prevent conflicts. The journey, known as Dojo Yatra, signifies Gandhi’s commitment to promoting peace and harmony through martial arts practices.
During the National Sports Day celebrations, Rahul Gandhi, also the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, showcased his dedication to this cause by releasing a martial arts training video as part of his Bharat Jodo Yatra. In the video, Gandhi was seen honing his skills in the Brazilian martial art of Jiu-Jitsu, showcasing his proficiency with a black belt in the discipline.
At a recent platform event, Rahul Gandhi emphasized the importance of introducing the delicate art of martial arts, specifically meditation, Jiu-Jitsu, and Aikido, to young minds. He highlighted that these practices were integrated into the Bharat Jodo Yatra and Bharat Jodo Nyayatra, conducted in two phases, with daily martial arts sessions held to impart valuable lessons on transforming violence into gentleness.
Gandhi stressed the significance of cultivating these values in the youth to foster a safer and more empathetic society. As he looks forward to the upcoming India Dojo Yatra, he envisions a future where martial arts serve as a vehicle for positive change and personal growth.
