The Meteorological Department said that this low pressure is likely to travel west and northwest for two days and reach the coastal areas of South Odisha and North Andhra. Meteorological department has issued orange alert for many districts across Telangana. Meteorological Department has said that heavy rains are likely to occur in Telangana in the next three days. It is said that there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains in 4 to 11 districts. The surface circulation over the east-central and north Bay of Bengal is extending 5.8 km above the mean sea level.

Due to this, low pressure is likely to form in North Bay of Bengal, officials said. The Meteorological Department said that this low pressure is likely to travel west and north-west for two days and reach the coastal areas of South Odisha and North Andhra. Meteorological department has issued orange alert for many districts across Telangana. Yellow alert has been given to some other districts. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of moderate rain in these districts. Officials of the Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility that the low pressure formed in the East and Central Bay of Bengal will strengthen and concentrate in the North-West on Friday. Meteorological Department officials are of the opinion that there is a possibility that it will strengthen and become a cyclone in the course of moving towards North Andhra and South Odisha by Saturday.

On Friday, heavy to very heavy rains are likely to occur in Adilabad, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Manchirya and Jagittala districts, according to the Meteorological Department. On Saturday, Jayashankar said that heavy rains will also occur in Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Warangal and Hanumakonda and very heavy rains are likely in some other places. On Sunday, Nizamabad, Jagityala, Rajanna Sirisilla, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Janagama, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Medak, Kamareddy are likely to receive heavy rains, according to the Meteorological Department. People are advised to be alert.
