The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the list of bank holidays for September 2024, urging consumers to plan their banking activities strategically to avoid time wastage and financial losses. According to the RBI calendar, September will have a total of 14 holidays, including weekends. Festivals like Vinayaka Chaturthi, Eid Milad, Onam, and Thiruvanam will be celebrated, with specific holidays in different states.

In Kerala, banks will be closed on September 18 and 21 for Narayanaguru Jayanti. A nationwide three-day bank holiday from September 14 to 16 will include Eid Milad. Rajasthan will observe a four-day closure from September 13 to 16. Sikkim will have a four-day holiday from the 14th to the 17th. Karnataka will have a total of eight holidays.

The detailed list of bank holidays in September 2024 includes various regional and national observances, ensuring consumers are aware and can plan their banking transactions accordingly. However, it’s essential to note that holiday applicability may vary based on state-specific festivals and events. Consumers in Telugu states are advised to align their banking tasks with local holiday schedules.
