Many people occasionally go out for fun and eat food in restaurants and hotels. They prepare a variety of foods there. But if you eat food outside too often, it is not good for your health. You can make it clean at home by following just a few tips. Veg kurma curry is one of the most ordered items in restaurants by vegetarians, and we can make this recipe at home. Although this recipe takes some time to make, it is very tasty. Children and adults love it and eat it too much.

Ingredients for Veg Kurma Curry:

  • Onions
  • Green Chillies
  • Vegetables (of your choice)
  • Ginger
  • Garlic
  • Cumin
  • Coriander
  • Mustard
  • Turmeric
  • Chilli
  • Salt
  • Garam Masala
  • Coriander
  • Coconut Milk or Curd
  • Anise Seeds
  • Ghee
  • Oil

How to Make Veg Kurma Curry:

  1. First, take a mixie jar. Add raw coconut pieces, onion, garlic, ginger, green chillies, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, anise seeds, turmeric, garam masala powder, and make a smooth paste. Keep this paste aside.
  2. Cook the vegetables for ten minutes and keep aside.
  3. Put a curry pan on the stove and heat it by adding a little oil and a little ghee. Then add onion slices and green chillies and fry until it changes color.
  4. Next, add cumin and mustard. Add pieces of mata and cook them gently.
  5. Add the previously made paste, mix well, and cook on medium flame until the oil floats to the top.
  6. Add the vegetables kept aside and cook for ten minutes. Add chilli, salt, turmeric, and garam masala and mix.
  7. Add curd or coconut milk and mix. Cook the curry on low flame for a quarter of an hour.
  8. Finally, add coriander and mix. Your delicious veg kurma curry is ready.
