In a recent turn of events, Mahabubabad and Khammam districts have been severely affected by floods caused by relentless heavy rains. The dedicated officers and police personnel have been tirelessly engaged in round-the-clock relief operations to assist the affected residents. Their efforts have been focused on relocating people to safer areas, ensuring their well-being during this challenging time.
One poignant incident involved the rescue of 40 families trapped in floods in Sitaram Tanda, Guduru mandal, Mahabubabad district. State Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy personally acknowledged and commended the valiant work of the officials and police involved in this rescue mission. CM Revanth Reddy’s visit to Mahabubabad was marked by his appreciation for Sirol SICH Nagesh, whose pivotal role in rescuing the trapped individuals did not go unnoticed.
Furthermore, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy extended his gratitude to the courageous CIs who provided essential supplies like water bottles and food to stranded passengers when floodwaters disrupted the railway track at Kesamudram Intikanne. Rural CI Saravayya and Town CI Devender’s efforts in relocating 5300 passengers to safety in Kazipet were also honored by the Chief Minister.
The exceptional dedication and leadership of DGP Dr. Jitender, Additional DGP Mahesh M Bhagwat, and Mahbubabad district SP Sudhir Ramnath Kekan have been lauded for their proactive measures in assisting the victims of heavy rains. SI Nagesh, CIs Sarvaiah, and Devender were specifically recognized by the state chief minister as exemplary role models in their commitment to duty.
