Anticipating a severe cyclone along the coasts of Odisha and West Bengal, the Meteorological Department predicts heavy rainfall in Coastal Andhra over the next few days. Specific districts like Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Parvathipuram, and Visakhapatnam are on red alert for extremely heavy rains, while others are under orange and yellow alerts.

Fishermen are advised to stay ashore as strong gales are expected to hit the coast. Telangana is also bracing for heavy downpours, with districts like Adilabad, Jagityala, and Medak under a yellow alert for thunderstorms and gusty winds. Similarly, districts like Peddapalli and Siddipet are on orange alert for heavy rainfall.
