The Telangana Education Department has taken a significant step to rectify errors made during the entry of Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) details. Providing relief to those who encountered mistakes in submitting marks, hall tickets, and subject entries online, the department has announced a window for corrections. With the recent release of the DSC final key, numerous candidates are rushing to the Director of School Education’s office to rectify TET discrepancies. Concerns were raised regarding the DSC General Rank List (GRL) release without adjustments, prompting officials to allow a chance for error corrections. The opportunity to make amendments will span two days, with personalized messages sent to TET candidates regarding the process. An official statement is anticipated tomorrow to formalize the correction opportunity.
Telangana Tet 2024 results unveiled on June 12, depicting 85,996 candidates for Paper-1 and 1,50,491 for Paper-2. Among them, 57,725 and 51,443 candidates qualified in Paper-1 and Paper-2, respectively. The final results will amalgamate TET and DSC marks, the latter expected to be disclosed in a week. This strategic sequence prevents irreversible TET entry mistakes post ranking list publication. The school education department’s decision will enable merit list publication at a 1:3 ratio, followed by certificate verification for all candidates.
