Isha Ambani’s Reliance Retail Forms Joint Venture with Israeli Company Delta Galil Industries

Isha Ambani, the daughter of Mukesh Ambani, one of the wealthiest businessmen in India and Asia, has ventured into a new partnership with an Israeli company, Delta Galil Industries. This collaboration marks a significant milestone as both parties hold a 50-50 percent stake in the joint venture, signaling a strong commitment to mutual growth and success.

As the head of Reliance’s retail business, Isha Ambani’s strategic decision to join forces with Delta Galil aims to further expand the company’s reach and revenue. In the previous financial year, Reliance Retail’s income surpassed Rs. 3 lakh crore, showcasing its robust position in the market.

The newly formed joint venture focuses on enhancing Reliance Retail’s presence in the apparel market by leveraging Delta Galil’s expertise in branded and private label innerwear manufacturing. Through this partnership, Delta Galil will develop and produce products under the Reliance brand, including a range of women’s, men’s, and children’s apparel.

In the upcoming months, the collaboration will introduce Delta family lifestyle stores and the Athena brand, catering to the growing demand for quality innerwear in India. Delta Galil’s reputation for innovation and product excellence will drive its expansion in the Indian market, offering consumers a diverse range of apparel choices.

V Subramaniam, Managing Director of Reliance Retail, expressed enthusiasm about the joint venture, highlighting the potential to enhance the retail platform’s offerings for customers. Delta Galil’s CEO emphasized the company’s industry expertise, which will support Reliance Retail in optimizing its intimate apparel and activewear capabilities.
