During a legislature party meeting of the TD-led alliance at CK Convention in Mangalagiri on Wednesday, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu brought attention to concerns regarding the Tirumala Sri Vaari Laddu. Naidu expressed his dismay over allegations that animal fat, instead of ghee, was used in the Tirumala prasadam during the previous government’s term under YSRC rule. He emphasized that such practices had a negative impact on the sanctity of the Tirumala Venkateswara Swamy Temple.
Accusing the previous administration of nefarious actions at Tirumala, Naidu claimed that inferior quality laddus and annaprasadam were being distributed to devotees. He highlighted the shift to using pure ghee in the preparation of Tirumala laddu following the ascent of the TD-led alliance government in Andhra Pradesh.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister instructed the MPs and MLAs affiliated with the alliance parties to develop vision documents tailored to their constituencies. Despite facing financial challenges upon assuming office, Naidu expressed confidence in the government’s progress, stating, “When we took charge, the treasury was depleted, lacking even the funds to cover salaries. Nevertheless, we are forging ahead with determination.”
