Although some food items are healthy, eating on an empty stomach in the morning is harmful to health, say experts. If you don’t have breakfast in the morning, you may have problems like irritability. Even the food we eat sometimes affects our body.

Fruit juices and smoothies: Fruit juices and smoothies are low in fiber. Consuming them as breakfast on an empty stomach increases blood sugar levels. Moreover, the feeling of hunger is reduced due to the low fiber content.

Banana: It contains many healthy nutrients. But it is better not to take food in the morning on an empty stomach. Because eating bananas on an empty stomach increases potassium and magnesium levels. Then there may be changes in heart rate.

Oily Foods: Consuming oily food early in the morning on an empty stomach can cause problems like vomiting, heartburn, flatulence, and stomach ulcers.

Sour foods: Consuming sour foods on an empty stomach can cause throat discomfort. Sour foods create a type of bad bacteria in the stomach. These can cause vomiting, seizures, etc. Even though they are sour-tasting fruits, it is better to stay away from them.

Sweets: Most of the people like to eat sweets sometime. Such is the craze for sweets. Children especially love sweets. If you eat it early in the morning, you get a kind of sourness in the chest.

Meat dishes: Non-vegetarian foods are high in fat. Do not eat in the morning on an empty stomach. Meat is not easily digested.

Pears: Although pears are high in fiber, eating them on an empty stomach can cause stomach ache and damage to mucous membranes.
