The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2024 hall tickets were released on Sunday, September 22, marking an important milestone for aspiring teachers in the state. The school education department has made the hall tickets available on the official website, facilitating easy access for the 4,27,300 candidates who have applied for the upcoming exams.
Scheduled to be held from October 3rd to 20th at designated exam centers, the TET exams will be conducted in an online Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. Candidates can expect two sessions per day, with the first session from 9.30 am to 12 pm and the second session from 2.30 PM to 5 PM.
To download their hall tickets, candidates need to visit the official TET application website and enter their registration number and date of birth. Additionally, one day after the conclusion of the exams on October 4th, the primary ‘keys’ will be released on the website for scrutiny. Objections to the key will be accepted from October 5, leading up to the final ‘key’ release on October 27.
The results of the TET 2024 exams are set to be declared on November 2, providing candidates ample time to prepare and await their outcomes. As a helpful resource, the website offers Mock Tests allowing candidates to familiarize themselves with the question papers across all subjects without any access restrictions.
In terms of passing criteria, OC (General) category candidates need to achieve 60 percent marks or above, while BC candidates require more than 50 percent and SC/ST/Ph/X servicemen candidates must secure over 40 percent marks to pass. The exam consists of 150 questions carrying a total of 150 marks, covering areas such as Child Development, Pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2, and the main subject. Notably, there are no negative marks, and all questions are multiple-choice.
