The District Women and Child Welfare Department has recently released a notification to fill vacant positions of Anganwadi Workers, Mini Anganwadi Workers, and Anganwadi Helpers under ICDS projects in Anantapuram district. These positions will be distributed across 11 projects in the district, totaling 84 posts. Only female candidates who meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply for these positions.
The distribution of vacancies is as follows:
- Anantapur Urban: 8 vacancies
- Shinganamala: 6 vacancies
- Narpala: 9 vacancies
- Ananta Rural: 10 vacancies
- Tadipatri: 14 vacancies
- Gutti: 5 vacancies
- Uravakonda: 12 vacancies
- Kalyanadurgam: 6 vacancies
- Kanekallu: 5 vacancies
- Kambadur: 7 vacancies
- Rayadurgam: 2 vacancies
Interested candidates can start submitting their applications from September 25, with the deadline set for October 1, 2024. Applications will be accepted by Child Development Project Officers (CDPOs) in the respective villages.
The eligibility criteria for candidates include passing the 10th and 7th standard exams, as well as being between 21 and 35 years of age. Selection will be based on educational qualifications, reservation roster, and locality, with no written test required. Monthly salaries for selected candidates will be Rs. 11,500 for Anganwadi Workers, Rs. 7,000 for Mini Anganwadi Workers, and Rs. 7,000 for Anganwadi Helpers.
To apply, candidates must submit their applications offline at the designated ICDS Project Office. The application process is already underway, and interested individuals are encouraged to apply before the deadline on October 1.
