In a commendable move to prioritize cleanliness in the Mangalagiri constituency, Minister for Education, IT, Electronics, and RTG, Nara Lokesh, has taken proactive steps to keep the town clean and green. To further this initiative, the minister has personally funded the purchase of five grass-cutting machines, each costing approximately ₹18,000, and has appointed five workers to operate them. The minister is also covering the salaries of these workers from his own funds.

The cleaning operation kicked off on Sunday morning, with grass and bushes being cleared along the Panakala Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Ghat Road in Mangalagiri town. TD leaders closely supervised the efforts to ensure that the area remained pristine and well-maintained. The initiative aims to make the constituency more eco-friendly and visually appealing for both residents and visitors.

Locals have expressed their satisfaction and gratitude for Minister Lokesh’s dedication to cleanliness and hygiene. Many believe that this initiative sets a positive example for other regions to follow, showing how leadership can make a tangible difference in maintaining public spaces.

By taking personal responsibility and covering the operational costs, Nara Lokesh has demonstrated his commitment to enhancing the quality of life in Mangalagiri through sustainable efforts. The project is expected to continue as part of a broader plan to promote cleanliness and greenery in the constituency.
