Exciting Vizag Open 2024 Returns with Top Indian and International Golfers

The much-anticipated second edition of the Vizag Open is set to tee off from October 2 to 5, 2024, at the prestigious East Point Golf Club (EPGC). Organized by the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI), the tournament promises thrilling action, with a total prize purse of ₹1 crore up for grabs.

The tournament will feature some of the biggest names in Indian golf, including TATA Steel PGTI ranking leader Veer Ahlawat, Manu Gandas, Olympian Udayan Mane, and defending champion N. Thangaraja from Sri Lanka. Other top contenders include Aman Raj, Shaurya Binu, Dhruv Sheoran, and Shankar Das.

International golfers from various countries will also be vying for the title. Along with Sri Lanka’s Thangaraja, the competition will feature K. Prabagaran, Stepan Danek from the Czech Republic, and players from Bangladesh, Andorra, Nepal, Canada, South Korea, Japan, and the US.

Adding to the excitement, local talents S. Muthu and Rahman Mehboob Shant will lead the challenge from the region, joined by amateur stars Bharath Kollapudi and Durga Prasad.

Speaking about the event, MSN Raju, Secretary of East Point Golf Club, said, “We are proud to host such a prestigious tournament that showcases the highest level of professional golf in India while also attracting top international players from 15 different countries.”

As the event kicks off, all eyes will be on these golfing talents, promising an exciting four days of world-class golf in Vizag.
