Following a tumultuous few months characterized by strained relations between the Maldives and India, Muizju’s four-day bilateral visit to India marks a crucial step in mending these ties. Notably, this is Muizju’s first official bilateral engagement since taking office, although he previously attended Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s swearing-in ceremony.
