In a significant move aimed at revitalizing Andhra Pradesh’s development trajectory, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu met with key central leaders and ministers in New Delhi on Tuesday. During his two-day visit, he sought crucial funding and support for various state projects, emphasizing the urgency of financial assistance to overcome the current fiscal challenges.
Naidu met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, presenting the Swarnandhra Vision 2047 document, which outlines ambitious plans for the state’s future. He also engaged with prominent ministers, including H.D. Kumaraswamy, Nitin Gadkari, Hardeep Singh Puri, and Piyush Goyal, discussing the need for their collaboration in redeveloping Andhra Pradesh.
Addressing the media, Naidu highlighted the difficult financial situation the state is facing, urging the Prime Minister to expedite the release of World Bank funds for Amaravati. “The constructions in Amaravati are set to restart in December,” he assured, expressing optimism for the capital city’s development.
Additionally, Naidu announced that the foundation stone for the Visakha railway zone works would be laid soon, underscoring the importance of completing pending National Highway projects in the state.
In a related initiative, Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan directed district collectors and officials from various departments to organize “Palle Panduga – Panchayat Week Celebrations” from October 14 to October 20. This celebration will take place across all 13,326 gram panchayats, creating a festive atmosphere as they launch works approved during the gram sabhas.
With these efforts, the Andhra Pradesh government aims to foster greater development and ensure the welfare of its citizens, as it seeks to strengthen ties with the central government.
