Amaravati Drone Summit 2024 Set to Showcase India’s Drone Industry with 5,000-Drone Show and Key Sessions

The Amaravati Drone Summit 2024 is gearing up to be a landmark event, bringing together key players from India’s drone industry. Chief Secretary Neerabh Kumar Prasad has directed top officials of NTR, Krishna, and Guntur districts to make extensive arrangements for the summit, which is scheduled to take place on October 22 and October 23. Hosted by the Andhra Pradesh government, the summit aims to explore the diverse applications of drone technology in various sectors, including agriculture, logistics, environmental monitoring, disaster management, and healthcare.

The summit is being organized in collaboration with the Drone Federation of India, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), and the Andhra Pradesh Drone Corporation. Over the course of two days, nine sessions will delve into the transformative potential of drones in these key industries. A special interactive session will also be held to discuss the vision of making Amaravati the Drone City of India.

One of the summit’s highlights will be a massive drone exhibition, with 40 exhibition halls featuring cutting-edge drone technology from manufacturers across India. This platform will allow businesses to showcase their innovative products and services, fostering collaboration and future growth in the drone sector.

In addition to the technical discussions and exhibitions, the summit will feature a spectacular cultural evening at Berm Park on the banks of the Krishna River in Vijayawada. From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on October 22, attendees will be treated to cultural performances, a laser show, fireworks, and India’s largest drone show, featuring an incredible 5,000 drones lighting up the night sky.

Dignitaries attending the event include Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Union Civil Aviation Minister K. Rammohan Naidu, state ministers, central government officials, and representatives from various states. The presence of these influential figures underscores the growing importance of drone technology in India’s future.

Infrastructure and Investments Secretary S. Suresh Kumar emphasized that 10 special nodal officers have been appointed to ensure the success of the summit, coordinating efforts across various departments. The Amaravati Drone Summit 2024 is poised to be a major milestone in positioning Amaravati as a key hub for drone technology, driving innovation and investment in this fast-growing industry.
