New Delhi, October 29: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the schedule for the first round of JEE Main 2025 exams, crucial for admissions to BTech and BRC courses in National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other Central Government funded technical education institutes across the country.
Key Dates for JEE Main 2025 Session 1:
- Online Registration: Opened on October 28 and will close on November 22.
- Fee Payment Deadline: November 22 at 11:50 PM.
- Exam Dates: January 22 to January 31, 2025.
- Hall Ticket Release: Available 3 days prior to the exam.
- Result Declaration: February 12, 2025.
JEE Main 2025 Session 2:
- Online Registration: From January 31 to February 24, 2025.
- Hall Ticket Release: Available 3 days before the exam.
- Exam Dates: April 1 to April 8, 2025.
- Result Declaration: April 17, 2025.
Exam Format
The JEE Main 2025 exams will be conducted online in two shifts daily:
- Morning Shift: 9 AM to 12 PM
- Evening Shift: 3 PM to 6 PM
The JEE Main syllabus remains unchanged, continuing to cover essential topics as in previous years. Notably, last year, approximately 12.30 lakh candidates applied for the JEE Main Paper 1 and 2 combined, with around 1.5 lakh applicants from the Telugu states alone.
This year, more than 24,000 BTech seats across 31 NITs and over 8,500 in IIITs are available. It’s essential to note that 50% of the seats in NITs are reserved for students from their respective states.
