Vizag Collector M.N. Harendhira Prasad recently conducted a comprehensive site inspection at Simhachalam, reviewing several significant development projects under the Prasadam scheme. These projects, including a shopping complex, queue complex, tourist information center, and new parks, represent a major investment of ₹54 crore aimed at enhancing facilities for the large number of devotees visiting the area.
During his visit, Prasad emphasized the importance of timely project completion to ensure devotees benefit from these facilities as soon as possible. He conducted a detailed inspection of the Kalyana Mandapam construction atop the hill and the modernization of the adjacent bus stand, both key components of the project. He urged officials to expedite work on the tourist information center and shopping complex, stressing the need to adhere to project deadlines.
Following the inspection, Prasad convened a meeting with the project officials to discuss any challenges and reinforce the urgency of completing these initiatives on schedule. His proactive approach demonstrates a commitment to enhancing the Simhachalam experience for devotees and tourists alike, with improved infrastructure and amenities.
