Gold and Silver Prices Fall Sharply in Telugu States
In the past week, gold and silver prices have dropped to record lows, bringing relief to many consumers who had been grappling with high prices. As of Friday morning, the rates recorded indicate a significant decrease in both precious metals.
Gold Prices
The price of 24-carat gold (10 grams) is now at Rs. 12,100, and 22-carat gold (10 grams) is priced at Rs. 11,100, marking a notable decrease. Over the past week, the price of pure gold (10 grams) has dropped by Rs. 3,830, causing a shift in the market.
In the major cities of Telugu states, including Hyderabad, Vijayawada, and Visakhapatnam, the price of 22-carat gold (10 grams) has reached Rs. 69,340, while the price of 24-carat gold (10 grams) continues at Rs. 75,640.
Silver Prices
Silver has also experienced a sharp drop in prices. The rate of silver per kilogram has decreased by Rs. 1,600. In Telugu states, the price of silver stands at Rs. 98,900 per kg in cities like Hyderabad, Chennai, Vijayawada, and Visakhapatnam. In other major cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Bangalore, the silver price remains at Rs. 89,400 per kg.
