After his admirers confused him for a YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT 3 competitor of the same name, singer Armaan Malik took to X to clarify. He asked people to cease tagging him in postings about the YouTuber since he claimed that this confusion is hurting his reputation.

“Hello to all of you. I have to deal with something that I have been trying to ignore for a while since it appears to be growing out of control. Formerly known as Sandeep, the YouTuber is now Armaan Malik, and he is a contestant on Big Boss OTT Season 3. Many people are mis tagging me and thinking we are the same person, which is causing a lot of confusion, the singer wrote.
