According to TechCrunch, Google Maps has updated its speed tracking features for iOS and CarPlay users, releasing them years after Android users did.

The speedometer and speed limit gadgets will be made available everywhere. According to the site, owners of iPhones have already noticed the new features in India.

“If your location supports the Speed Limits function, the app’s speedometer will alert you when you’re traveling too quickly. If you exceed the speed limit, the speed indicator will change colors, according to a Google page.

To drive safely, however, users should first trust the speedometer on their own vehicle and pay attention to any instructions given by local authorities.
