“The role I worked hardest for was Pashupati in Arundhati. The makeup alone took six to seven hours, and I developed rashes due to the continuous application. Shooting lasted day and night, and even after wrapping up, I was always worried that the director might call me back to reshoot something,” Sonu shared.

The film’s immense success and the audience’s overwhelming love for the character were unforgettable for him. “When I returned to Hyderabad after the release, the crowd at the theaters astonished me. That’s when I truly realized the depth of Telugu audiences’ love for cinema.”

Sonu also reminisced about his experience on the set of Jodha Akbar. Sharing a touching moment with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, he said:

“During a scene early in the shoot, Aishwarya Rai came up to me and said I reminded her of her father, Amitabh Bachchan. That compliment has stayed with me. She has been one of my best co-stars. I’ve also worked with Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan, and I share a great bond with the entire Bachchan family.”
