At a meeting with state cinematography minister Kandula Durgesh on Saturday at the Secretariat in Velagapudi, representatives of the Movie Artists Association (MVA) of Andhra Pradesh proposed that the state government construct a complex called Amaravati Cinema Studios on more than 100 acres of land in Amaravati.

Later, Dileep Raja, the founder president of MAA-AP, stated that the government ought to grant property to filmmakers who wish to build movie studios in Rajahmundry, Tirupati, and Visakhapatnam.

He also stated that housing sites in Amaravati must be given by the government to directors, producers, performers, and technicians.

According to the president of MAA-AP, Andhra Pradesh’s film industry will grow with the support of such facilities. He clarified that he has no personal vendetta against Telangana or anyone else.

His sole objective is to see Andhra Pradesh’s film industry flourish.
