TTD ROPES IN FSSAI TO ENSHANCE THE QUALITY OF PRASADAM AT TIRUMALA

For procurement procedures, the Tirumala TTD has opted to work in partnership with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) in order to improve the quality of raw ingredients used in the manufacturing of Annaprasadam and prasadams at Tirumala.

Monday’s discussion with FSSAI representatives on this subject was presided over by TTD EO J. Syamala Rao at the TTD administrative building in Tirupati. at the course of the talks, the EO gave TTD JEO V. Veerabrahmam instructions to set up an FSSAI laboratory at Tirumala. In addition to ensuring the purity of Jala Prasadam, this lab will be in charge of conducting scientific testing on the components and raw materials used in the manufacturing of prasadams and Annaprasadam.

According to Rao, one of India’s most venerated temples is able to guarantee the highest standards of quality and safety in the sacred offerings because to the relationship between TTD and FSSAI.
