Andhra Pradesh Government Reshuffles IAS Officers: Major Transfers Announced

On Saturday, the AP government announced G.O.Rt. No. 1288, facilitating the transfers and postings of 62 IAS officers in a major reorganization. Ch. Sridhar has been placed on the waiting list for the role of minority welfare commissioner. M.V. Seshagiri Babu, the commissioner of labor, has been reassigned as the inspector general for stamps and registrations, while G. Rekha Rani, secretary of the public enterprise department, has been appointed commissioner of handlooms and textiles.

Hari Kiran is awaiting posting as the Director of Public Health and Family Welfare. G. Veerapandian, currently V.C. & M.D. of the Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd., will be posted as the chief executive officer of the Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP) in the panchayat raj and rural development department. M. Harinarayanan is listed as the director of municipal administration, while Srikesh Lathkar Balaji Rao is awaiting a posting as director of survey, settlement, and land records. Dr. Mallikarjuna A. is currently serving as the director of BC Welfare while awaiting a new assignment. Prasanna Venkatesh is expected to be posted as the secretary of the A.P. Social Welfare Educational Society (APSWREIS) in the social welfare department.

Joint secretary Nishanthi T. has been moved to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district as joint collector and additional district magistrate. Himanshu Kaushik, previously the extra resident commissioner at A.P. Bhavan in New Delhi, has been assigned to East Godavari district in the same capacity. Amilineni Bhargav Teja will serve as additional district magistrate and joint collector in Guntur district. Narapureddy Mourya has been appointed as the commissioner of the Municipal Corporation of Tirupati, while Ganore Suraj Dhananjay will serve as joint collector and additional district magistrate in Palnadu district. R. Govinda Rao has been designated as extra district magistrate and joint collector in Kakinada. N. Tej Bharat is available for the position of municipal commissioner in Kadapa municipal corporation, and G. Surya Sai Praveenchand will serve as additional commissioner for the AP CRDA. Farman Ahmad Khan has been assigned as additional district magistrate and joint collector in Srikakulam district.

The remaining IAS officers have been transferred and assigned to various positions with directives to undertake their new responsibilities.
