If you are a BSNL SIM user, exciting news awaits you! The state-owned telecom giant, BSNL, has unveiled a significant upgrade to one of its prepaid plans, aimed at providing enhanced benefits to its customers. Priced below Rs. 500, BSNL’s latest offering promises more internet data than ever before, making it a compelling choice amidst rising costs of recharge plans by private operators.
The telecom behemoth has witnessed a surge in its user base, attracting over 29 lakh new customers in July, all thanks to its pocket-friendly and competitive plans. In a bid to stay ahead and compete with industry rivals like Jio and Airtel, BSNL has revamped its prepaid plan, now available at Rs. 485.
Under this revised plan, users can enjoy a generous 2GB of data per day, a significant increase from the previous 1.5GB offering. Additionally, the plan’s validity has been adjusted, now providing 80 days of service compared to the earlier 82 days. This translates to a substantial data boost, with users now receiving a total of 160GB data within the 80-day validity period.
In addition to the increased data benefits, the Rs. 485 plan also offers unlimited free calling to any network and 100 free SMS per day, making it a comprehensive and value-packed option for BSNL subscribers.
Comparing this offering to competitors, Jio provides a similar plan at Rs. 1,028 with 2GB data per day for 84 days, while Airtel’s Rs. 1,029 plan includes unlimited calling, 100 SMS, and a Disney+ Hotstar subscription alongside 2GB daily data. Vi’s offering stands at Rs. 998, featuring a Sony Liv subscription, 2GB data, unlimited calling, and 100 daily SMS.
