Digital payment usage has surged across the country, from local tea shops to large retailers, as smartphones have become ubiquitous. However, a common concern is the visibility of all transactions in the app’s history. To address this, users have the option to selectively delete transactions or hide them from others’ view in the Google Pay app.

To delete specific transactions,

follow these step-by-step instructions:

  1. Open the Google Pay app on your phone.
  2. Navigate to your profile and access the settings.
  3. Click on ‘Privacy and Security.
  4. Choose ‘Data and Personalization’ and select your Google Account.
  5. Scroll to the ‘Manage your Google Pay Experiences’ page to view your transaction history.
  6. Select the transactions you wish to remove and delete them individually.
  7. Optionally, you can set a time frame to delete multiple transactions or clear your entire history.
