Recently, the railway department has canceled more than 50 trains on the respective routes due to ongoing non-interlocking works on West Central Railway. These works aim to increase rail connectivity and enhance the overall efficiency of the railway network.
The non-interlocking work is currently in progress to add a third line at Damoh railway station between Murwara-Bina railway section at Katni in Jabalpur division. As a result of this maintenance activity, many trains originating from Bhopal had to be canceled. Additionally, the routes of several trains have been altered to accommodate the ongoing works.
