Experts warn to be careful if you experience problems such as excessive night sweats or sudden weight loss. In fact, our body has the ability to detect any disease early. It starts making some early warnings about it. If you understand its signs at the right time, you can get out of the problem. One such sign is night sweats and rapid weight loss. This is normal to happen sometimes. But if such a problem occurs frequently, one should immediately consult a doctor. Because these could be signs of lymphoma. It is a type of cancer.

Some people wake up drenched in sweat at night even when the weather is normal. This problem can also occur in those who live in cold regions. Excessive night sweats also occur in cases of fatigue. If this is happening often it can be dangerous to ignore it. Because it could be lymphoma cancer. It affects lymphocytes, i.e. red blood cells.

What is Lymphoma?
Our body has a lymphatic system. It contains lymph nodes, spleen, thymus, and bone marrow. Different blood cells are formed here. These factors are very important in fighting many types of infections. Any of these cancers is called lymphoma.

Causes of Lymphoma
There is still no clear evidence as to why lymphoma occurs. But this cancer is caused by certain cells called lymphocytes. They play an important role in fighting bacteria and viruses. Mutations are caused by genetic changes that occur at different stages of lymphocyte development.

Symptoms of Lymphoma

  • Painless swelling in the neck, or groin
  • Constant fatigue
  • Fever
  • Profuse night sweats
  • Rapid weight loss without reason
  • Difficulty breathing

Treatment of Lymphoma

  • Treatment with chemotherapy or chemoimmunotherapy
  • In some cases, a bone marrow transplant is also required
  • An immune checkpoint inhibitor, CAR-T therapy is performed after each treatment failure
