Admit cards for physical fitness tests have been released for the recruitment of Constable and Rifleman (GD) posts in the Central Armed Forces. The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has released an official statement confirming this update. The Staff Selection Commission, which had previously announced the dates of physical endurance tests, has now issued the admit cards for the same.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) events are scheduled to take place in all 105 examination centers nationwide, starting from September 23. The open competitive examination for these positions was conducted in February and March earlier this year, with the written exam results being disclosed in July after the release of the answer key in April.
Candidates who qualify in the PET and PST will undergo medical tests, followed by certificate verification. The selection process will be conducted based on job reservations, with a total of 46,617 vacancies to be filled through this notification.
In a separate announcement, the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, Railway Recruitment Board has advertised 11,558 vacancies across all railway zones in the country. The notification specifically targets the Graduate Job Notification in the Non-Technical Popular Category, where positions such as Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor, Station Master, Goods Train Manager, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, and Senior Clerk cum Typist are available. Interested candidates meeting the degree qualifications can apply from September 14, 2024, to October 13, 2024.
