New Delhi, October 30: Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNV) across the country are offering admissions through lateral entry to fill vacant seats in classes 9 and 11 for the academic year 2025-26. The Union Ministry of Human Resource Development has issued a notification calling for applications for the JNV Lateral Entry Entrance Test. This initiative aims to fill vacant seats in all 650 Navodaya Vidyalayas nationwide.
Today marks the final day for submitting online applications. Candidates who have not yet applied are encouraged to do so before the deadline.
The entrance exam is scheduled to take place on February 8, 2025. In the Telugu states, there are 24 Navodaya educational institutes, including 15 JNVs in Andhra Pradesh and 9 in Telangana. Selected students will benefit from free education, along with accommodation, books, and other essential facilities. Separate housing and accommodation are available for boys and girls.

Special Telecasts for Competitive and Academic Exams
In addition to the JNV admissions, the Telangana state government is conducting special video classes via the T-SAT network. These sessions are designed for candidates preparing for higher education, job, and academic examinations. Various competitive exams, including TGPSC Group 1, SSC, DSC, Gurukula, and Police exams, are covered through specialized broadcasts. Candidates are encouraged to utilize these classes, which feature expert explanations on a range of subjects.
