NTR Health University has released a notification on Wednesday (August 14) to provide admissions to MBBS and BDS seats in private medical colleges under proprietary quota for the academic year 2024-25 in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Under this notification, self-financed MBBS seats in Vizianagaram, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Machilipatnam, Nandyala government medical colleges and MBBS seats in SWEAMS, which were started last year.
Amaravati, August 15: NTR Health University on Wednesday (August 14) released a notification to provide admissions to MBBS and BDS seats in private medical colleges under proprietary quota for the academic year 2024-25 in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Under this notification, admissions will be made under the NRI quota of MBBS seats in self-financed MBBS and SWEEMS in Vizianagaram, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Machilipatnam and Nandyala government medical colleges which were started last year. Students who have qualified in NEET UG – 2024 can apply. The online registration process started from 10 pm on Wednesday. The application deadline is August 21st at 9:00 PM. However, the varsity said that the online application will not be available from 7 pm on August 16 to 9 pm on August 18. During this period it is not possible to apply for admissions under convener quota. It explained that the disruption is due to a problem in the maintenance of the government servers run by AP Online.
Students registering for proprietary quota seats must pay a fee of Rs.10,620. It is possible to apply from August 21st 9 pm to August 23rd 6 pm with a late fee of Rs.30,620. In case of any doubts during the application, it is advised to call 8978780501, 7997710168. Registrar Dr. Radhika Reddy said that in case of technical problems contact the number 9000780707.
On this occasion, Radhika Reddy advised the students and their parents that MBBS and BDS seats will be allotted only on the basis of NEET UG merit score and not to believe the tricks of middlemen and brokers. In Vizianagaram, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Machilipatnam and Nandyala government colleges, 225 seats under self finance and 95 seats under NRI quota are available for MBBS seats. Apart from these, 23 seats are available in SWIMs, 1,078 B category and 472 NRI MBBS seats in NRI private and minority medical colleges. There are 489 B category and 211 NRI BDS seats in dental colleges.
