In a significant announcement, the Department of School Education in Telangana has opened a window for candidates who participated in the DSC-2024 examination to rectify any mistakes in their previously submitted Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) details. This opportunity is being offered as the department prepares to declare the final marks for the DSC examination.
Director of School Education, EV Narasimha Reddy, confirmed that the correction facility will be available on September 12 and 13. He urged candidates to take advantage of this last chance to ensure their records are accurate. The corrections can be made through the official education department website, allowing candidates to edit their TET details online.
The TET results were released on June 12, and the examinations took place from May 20 to June 2. Following the release of the DSC notification, the application process for the DSC has also been underway. The Education Department has assured that the results will be announced soon after the final key for the DSC has been released.
Several candidates have reported issues with their DSC applications, noting that the marks obtained from the TET were not reflected in their applications. Additionally, others encountered errors in various details such as marks, hall ticket numbers, and subject entries. Many candidates reached out to the Director of School Education’s office, appealing for a correction opportunity. In response to these concerns, the Education Department is allowing a two-day window for TET detail corrections.
Starting from 10 AM today, candidates can access the edit option on their DSC applications. Officials have strongly advised all candidates to make the most of this opportunity, emphasizing its importance before the final marks and rankings are published.
In the upcoming week, the results of the DSC examination will also be revealed. Following this, a general ranking list will be generated, combining the marks from both the DSC and TET examinations. Once this process concludes, candidates will no longer have the opportunity to update their TET marks.
The Department has taken this initiative to assist candidates in achieving accurate records, as the merit list will be announced in a 1:3 ratio after the general ranking list is finalized. All records will be verified by District Education Officers (DEOs) to ensure accuracy and fairness.
