In an exciting development for job seekers in Telangana, the state’s Electricity Department is set to release a recruitment notification to fill a large number of vacancies. This announcement was made by Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka during a recent review meeting with officials from the Khammam and Warangal District Electricity Departments.

Deputy CM Vikramarka emphasized the government’s commitment to addressing staffing shortages in the power sector. He stated, “A massive recruitment notification will be issued soon to fill all the vacant posts in the power department.” This initiative is expected to provide much-needed employment opportunities across the state, while also strengthening the capacity of the Electricity Department to deliver efficient services.

During the review meeting, the Deputy CM also noted the completion of long-pending promotions, some of which have been on hold for over a decade. He acknowledged the dedication of power workers, particularly their recent efforts to restore services after the severe floods that impacted Telangana. He further urged the public to report electricity issues by calling the dedicated helpline at 1912.

In addition to recruitment updates, Deputy CM Vikramarka provided an update on student support measures. He confirmed that the Telangana government will soon release pending dues for fee reimbursement and scholarships, ensuring that these funds reach students before the upcoming Dussehra festival.

In related news, the Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation Limited (APDMCL), based in Vijayawada, has also issued a notification for various managerial positions. This includes six vacancies for Manager (Mining), one for Manager (IT), and one for Manager (Legal). All these positions will be filled on a contractual basis, with a deadline for applications set for October 21, 2024. Eligible candidates with qualifications in Diploma, Degree, or PG in the relevant fields are encouraged to apply. The selected candidates will serve in the Mangampet Varieties Project or the APDMCL Head Office in Vijayawada. For more details, candidates can refer to the official APDMCL website.

With both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh announcing recruitment initiatives, it’s a promising time for those looking to establish a career in the power and mining sectors. Interested candidates are encouraged to stay updated on the forthcoming notifications and ensure they meet eligibility requirements.
