Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the notification for the Engineering Services Examination 2025. This notification aims to fill engineering vacancies in railway, telecom, defense services, and other central government departments nationwide.
The online application process for UPSC Engineering Services Examination 2025 commenced on September 18 and will continue until 8th October. Aspiring candidates are encouraged to apply before the deadline to seize this opportunity.
A total of 232 posts will be filled through this recruitment drive, covering disciplines such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.
Candidates interested in applying for the UPSC Engineering Services Examination 2025 must hold a Diploma, BE/BTech degree from a recognized university or meet specific qualification criteria outlined by UPSC.
Applicants should be between 21 to 30 years of age as of January 1, 2025, to be eligible for this examination. Female candidates, as well as those belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories, are exempted from the application fee, while others are required to pay Rs.200.
The selection process for the UPSC Engineering Services Examination 2025 will include Stage-1 (Preliminary), Stage-2 (Main), Stage-3 (Personality Test), Medical Examination, and Verification of Certificates.
Preliminary examination will consist of two objective type question papers, carrying a total of 500 marks, with Paper I worth 200 marks and Paper II worth 300 marks. The Main examination will have two papers in the Engineering section, each carrying 300 marks, totaling 600 marks.
The Preliminary examination is scheduled for February 09, 2025. Interested candidates are advised to apply online and prepare diligently for this prestigious examination.
