  • Grated Coconut – 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame Seeds – 1 tablespoon
  • Cardamom Powder – 1/2 teaspoon

Preparation Method for Phool Makhana Laddoo

  1. Roasting Phool Makhana: Heat a tablespoon of ghee in a pan, add Phool Makhana, and roast until they turn crisp. Set them aside to cool.
  2. Fry the Dry Fruits: In the same pan, add a little more ghee and fry the dry fruits of your choice until they are golden brown. Keep them aside.
  3. Roast the Coconut: Add a small amount of ghee to the pan and roast grated coconut until it’s fragrant and light golden. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. Grind Phool Makhana and Dry Fruits: Blend the roasted Phool Makhana and dry fruits in a mixer until they become a fine powder. Transfer to a bowl.
  5. Prepare Jaggery Syrup: In the same pan, add the jaggery powder with a little water. Heat until it forms a thick syrup (the consistency should resemble caramel).
  6. Mix Ingredients: Add the powdered Phool Makhana, dry fruits, roasted coconut, sesame seeds, and cardamom powder into the jaggery syrup. Mix well to form a sticky mixture.
  7. Shape the Laddoos: Let the mixture cool slightly. Grease your palms with ghee and shape the mixture into small, round laddoos.
  8. Store: Place the laddoos in an airtight container. They can be stored for up to a month, retaining their freshness and nutrients.
