  3. Add ginger garlic paste and continue frying.
  4. Incorporate the mixed masala paste and stir well. Cook until the oil starts to float on top.
  5. Pour in coconut milk and let it simmer until it thickens. For a soup-like consistency, add water.
  6. Season with pepper and salt. Add the washed fish pieces and cook on medium heat for about fifteen minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh coriander before serving the delectable Mangalore style fish soup.
